Six Nations 2013: England, Ireland and Italy start with victory

This weekend began the Six Nations, the classic rugby tournament contesting the England, France, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Italy. And the first week began with the surprise of the defeat of France to Italy, in a match played in Rome, or home defeat of the defending champions, Wales, to Ireland. England meanwhile did fulfill its mission and premiered beating Scotland and seizing the Calcutta Cup.

A victory that was achieved against Scotland in a match played on Saturday at Twickenham Stadium, where there was no one more soul. England took a clear victory, by a score of 33-18, and demonstrating their superiority, although during the first few minutes it was not reflected on the scoreboard and Scotland came to go ahead. In the second part, the punishing blows of Owen Farrell himself put things in place and took England to their first victory.

Earlier, at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales and Ireland Six Nations tournament opened with a party that ended up winning the Clover Fifteen, by a score of 23-30. The match was not much story beyond the first half, as the end of this mail showed the three points for Wales and 20 for Ireland.
