Ecclestone: “Interlagos needs some plastic surgery”

The Interlagos circuit which hosts the Brazilian Grand Prix is one of the oldest in the calendar and despite receiving some slight changes in recent years, Bernie Ecclestone believes that there should be modernized a bit.


The Jose Carlos Pace Circuit has that character possessing traces of the last century. It is a track full of slopes and curves to brave pilots, and a circuit with a great atmosphere in the stands and where the history of Formula 1 has left some of its best moments, which is why Bernie does not want this fall’s big prize calendar, but think it should undergo some tweaks to improve facilities, which in his opinion, have been already somewhat outdated.
