This week we are disputing several ATP tournaments like Rotterdam, which fell as Roger Federer, and the Brazil Open where Rafa Nadal is the main attraction. The Spanish player was among the favorites for the title and although still in recovery and is not at his best has managed to get into the final where they will face Argentine David Nalbandian.
This tournament tends to be pretty good Spanish players and Nico Almagro was the defending champion. However, the player Murcia lost in the quarterfinals to David Nalbandian 7-6, 3-6, 7-6. In their next game the Argentine defeated Simone Bolelli and slipped in the final. There they will face Rafa Nadal suffered to win in the quarterfinals to Carlos Berlocq 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 and again needed three sets in the semifinals to subdue Martin Alund 6-3, 6 – 7 and 6-1.
David Nalbandian and Simone Bolelli were responsible for opening the semifinals in which King David won by 6-3 and 7-5. Argentine tennis player started better and broke serve first order Bolelli for the first race in which there was too much trouble. In the second Bolelli started with a 3-1 lead but Nalbandian fought back and scored the game after 1 hour and 25 minutes of play on Sunday so look for a new ATP title, something not achieved since 2010 and that of course is that the Argentine and not at its best moment.
