This weekend’s Davis Cup 2013 disputed their quarterfinal round that, for the moment, and leaves us three national teams qualified for semifinals. These are Argentina, Serbia and Czech Republic being to decide the tie facing Canada and Italy at the moment dominates the Canadian combined for two points to one.
The team had its simplest semi-finals was to the Czech Republic to beat Kazakhstan 3-1. The defending champions had not only used Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek in the doubles but it was still enough to get into semifinals as their rivals do not have any position player below 150 ranking.
The tie was chaps on the first day when as Lukas Rosol beat Andrey Golubev 6-4, 4-6, 2-6, 6-7 (6) and Jan Hajek did the same to Mikail Kukushkin whom he defeated by a score of 3-6, 2-6 and 4-6. Radek Stepanek played doubles with Hajek but lost 7-6 (2) 6-4 6-3 but his ranking was not endangered as in Game Rosol certified the pass leading by 6-7 (5), 7-6 (2), 6-7 (5), 2-6 to Korolev.
