The first semifinal of Australia Open Male 2013 has been set! It will face Novak Djokovic and David Ferrer after the Serbian tennis player has undone without too much trouble to Tomas Berdych. Previously Ferrer had Nico Almagro defeats after going two sets down.
There was much interest in seeing as Djokovic faced his quarter-final after having suffered for more than five hours in eighth before Wawrinka. Berdych, seeded fifth in the tournament, a player is more dangerous than the Swiss, but the truth is that only bother to Djokovic in the second round and finished the tournament goodbye after conceding a score of 6-1, 4-6, 6 -1 and 6-4 after two hours of play.
Djokovic was flawless in the first round in which their service worked perfectly. Djokovic lost just one point on serve before a Berdych had not yet entered the game and gave the manga by fast. In the second the Czech tennis player got a break from home and saved up to 4 balls break in the tenth game to tie the game.
You had to see how fit this setback Djokovic on the scoreboard but I must say that it exceeded perfectly winning four consecutive games with a 4-0 standing and leaving sentenced the third set. In the fourth set, Djokovic soon broke Berdych’s service and headed to semifinals closing the match with his tenth ace in the match.
The next hurdle facing the Serbian defend the title won last year’s David Ferrer with whom he has played 14 times with 9 wins for Djokovic Ferrer and 5 for which, needless to say, won several of these back when Djokovic triumphs not yet the player he is now. However Ferrer is displaying the best tennis of his career and Djokovic considered a very dangerous opponent:
It is one of the fittest players in the last fifteen months is doing the best tennis of his life and is the semifinal of a Grand Slam so I expect a tough game
There have been some ownership in the last years of the first four, but you can never underestimate the quality of the other players, you cannot disregard the second group of 5 to 10. Del Potro, Tsonga, Berdych and Ferrer can surprise and have repeatedly demonstrated that they can win against the best
